In the first of our three NFL Week 13 predictions, the Vikings are at -7.0 (-110), while the Lions are +7.0 (-110). Minnesota is plus-10 over Detroit in the scoring column. Viking QB Kirk Cousins has tossed 23 TD passes and just three interceptions. Wideouts Adam Thielen (10 TDs) and Justin Jefferson (6 TDs) are his primary targets. The rush attack has suffered without Dalvin Cook.
Detroit QB Jared Goff has tossed just 10 TD passes while throwing six picks. His O-line has allowed 27 sacks. The Vikings have 33 sacks. That’s best in the league. We expect Goff will be downed behind the line of scrimmage three or four times today. By the way, Detroit is next to last in the league in sacks. We think the Viking D will overwhelm Goff and company today.

In our late-day NFL pick, the Baltimore Ravens at -4.0 (-110). You can find the Pittsburgh Steelers at +4.5 (-119). In this contest, we think the end result comes down to two things. First, Lamar Jackson vs Ben Roethlisberger and second, the Raven D vs the Steeler defense. We think the Steelers have an edge in both areas. Take Pittsburgh at +4.0.

Our Sunday Night Football pick finds the Denver Broncos at +10.0 (-125), while you can get a deal on the favored Kansas City Chiefs at -8.5 (+101). In fact, if you’re going to bet on the Chiefs, you may want to wait until about an hour before the game. The spread is shrinking on this game partly due to 57% of the betting public going with the Broncos. Thus, the change in the spread is an attempt to even out the bets and get more cash on the Chiefs.
Our NFL Week 13 predictions likes the Chiefs in this game for a few reasons. First, they are performing much better on both offense and defense. They’ve won four straight games, including wins against Green Bay and Dallas. On the other hand, the Broncos have struggled to find consistency. They have won three of their last four, including beating Dallas three weeks ago. However, two weeks ago, Denver lost to Philadelphia 13-30. Which Denver team will show up tonight? Will it be the one that lost to the Eagles by 17 points, or the one that took down the LA Chargers last week by almost the same margin? Denver QB Teddy Bridgewater has been on a downward trend, while KC signal caller Patrick Mahomes has been on-and-off this season.
Neither team is stellar on D. However, the KC defense is coming along. Here’s the skinny. We like Denver at +10.0, but we don’t love them. The Chiefs will win by a bit more and cover. And you can get them at -8.5. Take the Chiefs with either spread.
