Our Milwaukee Bucks preview 2021 finds that the last three seasons have been exceptionally rewarding for this franchise. In that time, they’ve made it to the conference semifinals, conference finals, and last year, to the league finals. Last year, they also won those finals, defeating the Phoenix Suns four games to two. Over the past three seasons, the Bucks have averaged 54 wins, and each time they’ve finished first in the Central Division. Once again, in 2021-2022, Milwaukee appears to have the talent, skill, and depth to go all the way.

Bucks Frontcourt

The Milwaukee front men are exceptionally strong and intimidating. Our Milwaukee Bucks preview 2021 finds that power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is the anchor in the paint. Bobby Portis returns to offer solid backup and Semi Ojeleye arrives from Boston to provide additional depth.

Small forward Khris Middleton (20.4 PPG, 6.0 RPG, 5.4 APG), a two-time All-Star, NBA champions, and Olympic Gold Medalist, returns for his ninth season with the Bucks. Middleton run on high and is ultra-dependable. Seven-footer Brook Lopez is not the most athletic center in the NBA. But he does get the job done on both ends of the court. Last season, Lopez averaged 1.5 BPG while shooting 50.3 percent.

Milwaukee Bucks Preview – Backcourt

With starting shooting guard Donte DiVincenzo still recovering from a foot injury he suffered in the playoffs, the shooting spot is up in the air. Grayson Allen, an aggressive defender, and the highly energized Pat Connaughton will platoon until DiVincenzo, a 42 percent shooter from the floor and 38 percent from downtown, is also sound on D. He’s much needed.

Jrue Holiday runs the court. Last season, he shot 50.3 from the field and 39.2 percent from downtown. He averaged 6.1 APG, 17.7 PPG, and 4.5 RPG. Plus, he was good for 1.6 SPG. George Hill, who has solid command of the court and ably handles any situation, comes in to relieve. Tremont Waters arrives from Boston to add depth.
