The Navy Midshipmen (1-4 Overall, 1-2 AAC) and Memphis Tigers (3-3 Overall, 0-2 AAC) will meet on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 7:30 pm ET. Additionally, we’re offering free picks on the California Golden Bears vs the #9 Oregon Ducks (Friday, October 15 at 10:30 pm ET) and the #11 Kentucky Wildcats vs the #1 Georgia Bulldogs (Saturday, October 16 at 3:30 pm ET).

Navy vs Memphis Pick – Point Spread

The Midshipmen come to this game averaging just 17.6 PPG while the Memphis Tigers have been good for 36.3 PPG. On defense, both teams are allowing over 32 PPG. Along with possessing a major negative differential in points scored, the Navy offense is gaining over 200 fewer yards than Memphis. The big difference is in passing, as the Tigers are throwing for about 260 more yards than the Midshipmen. On D, Memphis is allowing about 100 more yards per gamer than the Midshipmen.

Our Navy vs Memphis pick finds that you can get underdog Navy at +11.0 (-110). At the same time, the best spread for the Memphis Tigers is -10.5 (-110). Memphis is much better than their record shows. We think their offense will overwhelm the Midshipmen, scoring at will. Our Navy vs Memphis pick is the Tigers at -10.5 (-110).

California vs #9 Oregon Prediction

#9 Oregon Ducks (4-2 Overall, 2-1 Pac-12). The Golden Bears have lost four of five by an average of 7.25 PPG. On the other hand, the Oregon Ducks are coming off being upset by the Stanford Cardinal in OT 31-24. Over the course of this season, the Ducks have been winning by 19.25 PPG. In terms of overall point differential between these two teams, Oregon is +17.3.

Quarterbacking accuracy and consistency has Oregon’s Anthony Brown topping California’s Chase Garbers. Also, the Duck rush attack is deeper and more productive, while their defense ably creates turnovers.

The best odds for the Golden Bears come in at +13.5 (-109). The smallest spread for Oregon is -13.0 (-117). The Ducks are at home and coming off being on the wrong side of an upset. Plus, they are better on both sides of the ball. A two-to-three TD win looks likely. We’re going with the #9 Oregon Ducks at -13.0 (-117).

#11 Kentucky at #1 Georgia Pick – Point Spread

This #11 Kentucky Wildcats vs #1 Georgia Bulldogs game is huge. The Cats are out to prove that they deserve to be where they are in the national rankings, and that they can compete against a team like Georgia. The Bulldogs just claimed the top spot in the nation this week. They’re looking to keep that designation. Kentucky has a solid offense (31.0 PPG) and defense (17.5 PPG). However, the Georgia offense is more prolific, averaging 39.8 PPG. Additionally, their top-ranked D is allowing opponents just 5.5 PPG. Last week, the Bulldogs easily beat the spread (-15.5) in their 34-10 win over #18 Auburn.

Kentucky is at +23 (-110). The Georgia spread is -21.5 (-110). Georgia is the home team. In three home games this season, the Bulldogs have allowed just 20 points. In their one away game, which was against South Carolina, the Wildcats scored just 16 points, notching a six-point victory. In this game, we see Georgia controlling the contest from start to finish. Go with the Bulldogs at -21.5 (-110).
